Spotify is great as long as you don’t hit a bump with some sync problem. Oh, there’s the issue of your premium account not getting activated (or recognized in mobile), but that’s often just a server glitch.
If local files from your Mac or PC don’t get synced with Spotify and instead, Spotify shows you ‘similar’ tracks that you can download instead, that’s going to be one big headache. This usually happens when you have music tracks with metadata that’s way too similar to the ones Spotify has on its server.
Why does this happen? See queue in spotify app. The issue crops up mostly when you’ve got fan-versions of a popular song, or remixes and other modifications that leave pretty much of the metadata intact. This makes Spotify think that you’re trying to upload a song that’s already up there and so, it prevents sync and offers to let you grab the cloud versions.
Too bad, eh. But there’s a quick fix.
To download Spotify music and transfer them to iPhone 8/8 plus, you should remove the Spotify DRM protection at first. Ondesoft Spotify Converter is a professional Spotify DRM removal software. It will remove DRM from any Spotify music and convert them to. Method 2 - Download Spotify Music to iPhone Directly. As is known, Spotify free version only allows users to listen or stream music online. If you would like to download music and listen offline with no ad interruptions, a $9.9 monthly subscription fee should be paid. Overall, Spotify Premium, which you need to subscribe to in order to download any music (the free plan doesn't allow offline playback), will let you download a total of 3,333 songs per device on a total of three devices. That should be plenty for you.
This is what you should try if Spotify not syncing Local Files to iPhone:
(make sure you use the same account on Spotify for your Mac/PC as well as for your iPhone)
Step 1. First, connect both your PC/Mac and your iPhone to the same Wi-Fi network.
Step 2. Now, open iTunes on your PC/Mac and you should find your iDevice listed under the Devices tab on the sidebar.
Step 3. Create a new playlist from your system (on the device) and place one of the local files into this.
Step 4. Open Spotify on your iPhone and then select the newly created playlist.
Step 5. Enable “Available Offline.”
Step 6. You’ll now see a progress icon right beneath the song you’ve got on the playlist. This will get the song from the cloud to your Spotify app.
Step 7. That’s about it.
When you add more songs to this playlist, they get synced. Make sure you don’t turn off the offline sync feature.
Note that there’s a limit to the number of offline songs you can have on your device (each).
That’s all folks!

Does Apple Watch 6 support streaming Spotify music directly without an iPhone connection? Sorry, the answer is still no. But Spotify is now testing direct Apple Watch streaming for select users. However, there is still no news on storing a playlist locally for offline listening. - read more
Spotify officially released its Apple Watch app on Nov 13, 2018. With this new app, users can enjoy an improved experience with better control and the ability to seamlessly connect to your speakers or devices.
Spotify’s first Apple Watch version includes the ability to access and control your favorite Spotify music and podcasts from wrist, and control how music is played to compatible Spotify Connect devices. But one important feature is missing: you can't store Spotify music locally on your wrist for offline listening.
The lack of offline playback may disappoint you. It means you still can't go for a run with just Bluetooth headphones and leave iPhone at home. Spotify is promising that offline playback support is coming in the future, however, it's not achieved. Unfortunately, it's a similar story for Apple Watch LTE owners with a data contract who were hoping to stream Spotify music directly from their wrist for listening on a pair of connected Bluetooth headphones. Currently the ability to do this doesn't exist in the Spotify app and there's a good chance it never will, since Apple's API for watchOS 5 doesn't permit third-party apps to use direct cellular or Wi-Fi streaming.
